What I offer

Three ways to eat well

Whether you want a fridge full of ready meals or someone cooking in your kitchen, we start with what you need and go from there.

01

Meal Prep

A week of meals, ready when you are.

Fully cooked, portioned, and labeled meals built around your goals, dropped off so eating well is the easy choice all week.

02

In-Home Chef

Dinner, cooked in your kitchen.

A private chef experience at home. I plan the menu, shop, cook, and leave your kitchen cleaner than I found it.

03

Events

For the tables worth gathering around.

Menus for gatherings, celebrations, and private events, with something that works for every guest at the table.

The philosophy

Food that tastes good and actually makes you feel good, from the inside out.

Every elevATE meal is pork-free, seed oil-free and curated around your dietary needs and health goals: gluten-free, dairy-free, carnivore, anti-inflammatory, sugar-free, or something all your own. Not just food that tastes good, but food that makes you feel good from the inside out.

Shelbie, personal chef
Meet Chef Shelbie

Hi, I'm Shelbie.

I cooked my first solo meal at five years old, standing on the open door of the dishwasher because it was the only way I could reach the stove. By nine, I was putting together multi-course dinners. I'm not sure I ever had a choice in this.. I had an elevated palate before I had the vocabulary for it. I knew early on that boxed food was NOT going to cut it.

Cooking, for me, has always been mostly self-taught. Though a lot of it I learned standing next to my grandmother in her kitchen. My first real taste of the industry came catering in high school, and for years after that I thought I wanted my own restaurant. I went in that direction right out of high school, and by 21 I was working restaurant operations, opening seven of nine locations for a chain in Portland, Oregon. Somewhere in there, I realized what I actually loved wasn't the restaurant business, but more so cooking for someone. Food is my love language. I put care into every step, and there's nothing quite like watching someone savor a bite of something I made just for them.

So many of us have lost intention around the one thing we can't live without. When we eat well, we feel better about ourselves. However not everyone has the time, or the skill, to make that happen. That's the gap elevATE fills. I also cook from experience most people don't see on the plate. I've dealt with chronic stomach issues and anxiety for most of my life, and I've cycled through more diets and lifestyles than I can count trying to find some sense of normal. What I've learned is that when I cut out inflammatory foods, everything gets better. Which is exactly why every menu I build, whether it's a week of meal prep or a private dinner, is pork-free, seed oil-free and shaped around what actually makes your body feel good.

At the end of the day, I want you to finish a meal feeling good not just full. Food should be a genuinely pleasurable experience. I won't say it beats everything else in life, but it should come close. Today, elevATE brings that same care to personal chef services, meal prep, and private events across Bothell and the greater Seattle Eastside; from Kirkland and Bellevue to Woodinville and Redmond.

If you're ready to eat food that's made for you, let's build your menu.
